The opportunity

The Sales Administration Officer role is based at the Tatura site (Tatura Milk Industries Pty Ltd) and reports to the Demand Planning and Sales Administration Manager.  This role has a strong customer service focus including communication directly with Account Managers and Customers.  You will be responsible for processing customer enquiries, orders and complaints.   The role is also responsible for generating export documentation and ensuring debit payments are processed.  You will act as a customer champion within the business to ensure that customer needs are met within business rules.

Additionally you will have:

  • Several years experience in sales order processing and customer service in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently and without supervision
  • The ability to be highly organised, process driven and capable of working under pressure
  • A strong level of attention to detail required
  • An ability to interact with people from differing cultures (foreign language skills would be an advantage)
  • Highly developed computer skills including strong understanding of Word, Excel, Outlook Order processing and ERP/MRP Software Package.
  • A sound understanding of export documentation and regulatory requirements.
