The opportunity

If you are looking for a supportive and inclusive environment working within a growing business, then this is the role for you!  Bega has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Coordinator to join our expanding Payroll and HR Shared Services team.


As Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for administering the end to end payroll function, including the maintenance of our employee database and timely compilation and distribution of pay for salaried employees. You will also ensure the reconciliation and timely payment of third-party payments to providers such as superannuation funds, leasing companies, and governing authorities. 


In addition, you will provide support to the broader HR Shared Services function with the rollout of new initiatives to the Bega Group.

Additionally, you will have:

  • Demonstratable end to end payroll processing knowledge
  • Ability to interpret contracts, awards, enterprise agreements, company policies, and legislation
  • Working knowledge of Payroll and HR systems such as Micropay, Kronos and Workday (preferred)
  • Exposure managing employee benefits (such a vehicle leasing, superannuation, shares program)
  • A reputation for producing quality and accurate work with strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
