The opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager – Reckitt Benckiser (RB) Operations Australia the role is primariliy responsible for ensuring complete communication occurs across RB and Bega as regards the effective access to the plant by both parties. This will involve managing the Derrimut Master Production Schedule in collaboration with the RB Planning Manager and Optimising the finite line schedule(s), including daily and weekly monitoring and reviewing actual performance against the agreed plan. The position is also responsible for ensuring all materials are accurately received, recorded, available and cleared for use, leading and championing all ERP processes on site, including SAP, Baan and M3 and supervising the inwards and outwards logistics processes.

Additionally you will ideally have:

  • An undergraduate degree in Engineering, Marketing or Commerce
  • Completed APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management
  • A demonstrated ability to be able to communicate and collaborate at all levels as a team player
  • Strong IT skills – including use of ERP systems (prefer SAP and M3 experience) and MS Office software
  • An ability to collect, collate and report on data
  • A strong understanding of best practice inventory management techniques
  • The ability to multitask and quickly change duties Behaviors that are consistent with the Bega/Tatura Values
  •  A demonstrated ability to prioritize workload
