The opportunity

Reporting to the Derrimut Planning and Logistics Manager the role is primarily accountable for managing the Incoming Reckitt Benckiser (RB) materials management processes for the Australian sites. The position is responsible for all logistics management activities from the point of despatch from the supplier to the point of GR at the Derrimut (DM)
warehouse. The key focus areas include ensuring complete communication and co-ordination of transport and warehouse activities for both parties (Bega and RB) and sourcing Inbound freight quotations - ad hoc shipment (Air Freight/Sea Freight). The position is also responsible for managing import permit applications and analysing and reporting on site KPI’s, assisting with preparing all daily, weekly and monthly KPI reports for RB and Bega.

Additionally you will ideally have:

  • A demonstrated ability to be able to communicate and collaborate at all levels as a team player
  • Strong IT skills – including use of ERP systems (prefer SAP and M3 experience) and MS Office software
  • An ability to collect, collate and report on data
  • A strong understanding of best practise inventory management techniques
  • The ability to multitask and quickly change duties
  • Behaviours that are consistent with the Bega/Tatura Values
  •  A demonstrated ability to prioritise workload
