The opportunity

Reporting to the Finance Manager – Ingredients the role is a major contributor to the financial success of the Tatura site, providing financial insight, analysis and support to key decisions. The role will maintain an intimate knowledge of the financial performance of Tatura and will work closely with the Site Manager and Finance Manager – Ingredients to maintain tight financial control and materially improve performance over time. Additionally the role will provide effective leadership to the Tatura Finance Team, focusing on skill development and service delivery and will also be an integral member of the Ingredients Finance Team.

Additionally you will ideally have:

    • A tertiary qualification in finance, accounting or similar discipline with CA/CPA accreditation
    • Several years commercial/analytical experience, ideally within a manufacturing/dairy/FMCG environment with comprehensive understanding of standard product costings systems and inventory valuation adjustments
    • An ability to analyse key operational and financial trends across the business
    • Strong project management experience with the ability to multi task and meet deadlines
    • Demonstrated experience with multi-dimensional analysis tools
    • An ability to manage large volumes of data and develop models to manipulate data efficiently
    • Strong experience in the use of Microsoft office programs, including excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivots)
