The Bega Graduate Experience 

We are inviting applications for enthusiastic and motivated graduates to join our team at Bega Cheese.  We are looking for a talented and energetic individual who is eager to learn and has a desire to make an impact.  

 

Working on day-to-day activities to support your immediate team as well as providing challenging and meaningful projects, Bega graduates will undertake a comprehensive 18 - month rotational program with a focus on technical knowledge and skills, Bega business acumen and personal opportunities to prepare you for an exciting career. 

 

About the Position 

Bega is recruiting graduates into our Nutritionals Business Unit, a dynamic high performing team responsible for the manufacturing and sales of infant formula and nutritional life-stage powders for the domestic and international markets. 

 

This opportunity will be based in Tatura (approximately 20 minutes from Shepparton) located within the Goulburn Valley.  The Goulburn River forms the backbone and lifeblood of our region, winding its way through beautiful countryside, native forests and fertile farmlands, bringing life to the rich agricultural landscape which has made the area renowned as Australia’s food bowl.   Shepparton is renowned for its sporting community, riverside walking/cycle tracks and is only 2 hours from the alpine snow fields. Visit www.visitshepparton.com.au for more information.

To qualify for any Graduate Program role at Bega, applicants must: 

  • Have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Food Technology or related Engineering discipline within the last two years (i.e. from June 2017) or be completing their degree* by November 2019.  
  • Be a high academic achiever
  • Have a willingness to learn and adapt to changes 
  • Have a reputation for producing quality work 
  • Have excellent communication skills and teamwork

  • an Australian Citizen;
  • a permanent resident of Australia;
  • a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport; or
  • hold a current visa that allows them to work full-time in Australia until at least August 2022
