Milk Supply Administration Officer

The opportunity/team

We have a great opportunity for a Milk Supply Administration Officer to provide customer service and support to the farmer suppliers of Bega Cheese and to provide administrative support to the Milk Supply Services team

 

Other accountabilities will include:

 

  • Manage the daily Milk Supply administrative requirements
  • Complete daily reports as required.
  • Communicate with Milk Supply Officers to ensure enquiries are prioritised and followed up in a timely manner.
  • Co-ordinate the completion and processing of farmer supplier related paperwork.
  • Maintain records of projects and activities as required.
  • Assist with the planning and organisation of supplier field days/seminars and Xmas parties.
  • Assist in the production of the monthly farmer supplier newsletter and associated materials.
  • Complete processing of monthly accruals and accounts for payment.
  • Support Inbound freight Admin, M3 data maintenance and generate reporting on freight performance
  • Assist in the establishment of new farmer suppliers into the Bega Cheese systems including liaising directly with 3rd parties such as DFSV for information
  • Provide backup for MADCAP daily reconciliations of volume, composition and quality data and liaise with Transport and DTS as required for accuracy

Additionally, you will have:

  • Prior experience working in an Office administration, accounts or bookkeeping role
  • Be comfortable using Microsoft Excel and be already operating at an intermediate level (as a minimum)
  • An ability to work unsupervised and be the first point of contact for farmer suppliers.
  • Experience in a customer management and in an office management role
  • An ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all Bega Cheese farmer supplier information, records and files.
  • An ability to efficiently use a range of computer programs including but not limited to the MS Office suite of products
  • Be highly organised & have a reputation for producing quality work
  • Possess excellent communication skills & have an ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels
